My husband and I recently came to charleston on vacation. It was our first time there in a while and our official first time dining at RB's. From the moment we walked in we felt welcome! The hostess was such a nice young lady and she explained to us about the different dining areas and was very helpul. We decided to eat on the deck, which had an awesome view. Really anywhere you sit in RB's you have a great view! Our server was very nice and answered all of our questions. We had fried calamari for an appetizer and then a side ceaser which was huge! And for our entrees, I had the grilled salmon oscar and my husband had the whole fried flounder. It was delicious! And as if we had any room left for desert..we tried to manage to squeeze in a giant piece of the chocolate cake! Everything from the service to the food was awesome. We are looking forward to our next visit to charleston and RB's!!
Pros: Food and service was wonderful!
Cons: Too much food!

RB's is the oldest restaurant on the creek, though due to a fire a few years back, the building is new. You can arrive by car or boat. Still a favorite with local folks. Can't remember ever having a bad meal there. Fried seafood and ONION RINGS are GREAT! Corona's always ice cold. Just wish they still had the cheddar cheese cornbread.
Pros: Convenient location; great for lunch or dinner; eat inside or on the porch overlooking the dock
Cons: On busy nights there may be a wait, but same holds true for any good restaurant
